KANSAS CITY, May 20, 2021 – On behalf of OneDigital, JLL announced today the successful negotiation of a 16,925-square-foot lease at CityPlace Corporate Centre I. OneDigital, the nation’s leading health, retirement/wealth, and HR advisory firm, will be relocating in November and expanding its Retirement + Wealth national headquarters to 11101 Switzer Road, Overland Park, Kansas.
“At OneDigital, we’ve been fortunate to see tremendous growth through this past year,” said Vince Morris, President of OneDigital's Retirement + Wealth Division. “We’re committed to providing our clients with great experiences and exceeding their expectations. Expanding to larger office space will help to ensure that our teams are collaborating regularly to fuel their personal and professional growth.”
Anné Erickson & RJ Trowbridge of JLL represented OneDigital and Hunter Johnson and Andrew Block represented the landlord, Block Real Estate Services, LLC, in-house.
As employee health care, wellness and workplace benefits continue to shift, companies continue to rely on OneDigital’s advisory teams for counsel and its adjacent services, such as employee benefits as well as the retirement and wealth management services provided through OneDigital Investment Advisors.
“We were thrilled to help pinpoint and secure an office space that accounted for OneDigital’s current expansions, the post-COVID work environment and future of the company’s development,” said Erickson.
In JLL’s study of shifting global workforce expectations, 70% of respondents reported the office environment is more conducive to connecting with teammates to solve complex issues, as well as managing direct reports and connecting with leadership. The study notes the workplace of the future will have to be more human than ever to support employees’ diverse, changing needs and workstyles.
“Offices are evolving into a destination for collaboration, problem solving and career development,” said Ken Block of Block Real Estate Services, LLC. “We’re looking forward to moving the OneDigital team into the Offices at CityPlace and wish their team continued growth and success in years to come.”
