Block Real Estate Services and Sunflower Development Group have submitted a proposal to purchase and revamp a landmark structure in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
The Kansas City-based developers have worked together on several projects, including the award-winning $69 million transformation of Traders on Grand, a 21-story office tower in downtown Kansas City, into a luxury apartment complex called The Grand. That project won a 2019 Capstone Award from the Kansas City Business Journal in the adaptive reuse category.
The redevelopment of 100 N. Main St. and an adjoining block mark a significantly higher hurdle - and not just because that tower is 37 stories tall.
