Kansas City, Missouri—One of our very own at Block Real Estate Services, LLC (BRES) Gene Elsas, Senior Vice President of Sales and Leasing, was selected as an inductee into the 5th annual "Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame."
The Midwest Real Estate News has selected 68 Inductees out of over 400 applicants from the 13 Midwest States in the following categories: Developer/ Owner, Brokerage, Property Management, Law and Finance. The "Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame" honors and recognizes individuals from each Midwest state who have made the industry what it is today. Gene was highlighted in the December 2014/January 2015 issue of Midwest Real Estate News.
Gene has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience. He has been the top broker for one of Block Real Estate Services most prestigious business parks Pine Ridge Business Park. From the inception of Pine Ridge, to the present, Gene has been instrumental in keeping both the industrial and office spaces leased up and maintaining on average over 92% occupancy.
Gene’s primary emphasis of his career has been in the office building industry starting in property management, then into leasing, sales, and brokerage and development activities. Gene has performed tenant representation services for local, regional and national clients. He has also had strong experience in the industrial arena with warehouse and flex buildings, and peripheral involvement in retail leasing.
When it comes to office and industrial real estate Gene is one of the most knowledgeable professionals in the industry today. He understands every aspect of commercial real estate and does so with the utmost integrity and honesty.
