The Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors (KCRAR) hosted its annual commercial awards ceremony Thursday, February 20th on the Plaza. After a review of some of the most impressive, notable commercial real estate stories of 2013, winners from BRES were:
Kim Bartalos came in first for highest volume in retail sales
Michael Block came in first for highest volume in Industrial Sales
Gene Elsas came in third for highest volume in Industrial Sales
Aaron Mesmer came in third for highest volume in Investment Sales
KCRAR also gives a Rookie of the Year award to a broker in the business for less than 36 months, and factors in criteria like production, community service, ethics, education, and contributions to the local organization. Since beginning his career in the summer of 2011, University of Kansas graduate Max Wasserstrom of BRES has leased or sold more than 135,000 square feet worth of office properties, including 32 transactions in 2013 that totaled almost $19 million.
