The night was filled with fun as BRES employees tested their trivia knowledge as a team.  The trivia night was held in honor of benefitting Boys Hope Girls Hope of Kansas City (BHGH of KC) on Saturday, February 28, 2014.

Right here in Kansas City, there is a place that provides hope for academically gifted boys with family or home environments that cannot support them or nurture their abilities. Boys Hope Girls Hope of Kansas City is a nonprofit organization offering these bright, capable young men a safe family-like home in which to live, meeting their basic needs, creating access for them to have a college-preparatory education, along with tutoring, community service projects, spiritual development and other activities and opportunities to help them reach their full potential.

BHGH of KC is unique, because we don’t just serve our scholars for a limited time. They enter our program and come to live in the BHGH of KC Home as early as ten years old and stay through high school graduation. We then give them financial assistance and support through college graduation as well. When they leave our program, they are prepared for independence, careers and a life of serving their families and communities.

The Trivia night went to help provide scholarships to boys in need of helping them with severe family stress, neighborhood violence, underperforming schools, poverty or homelessness.
