Kansas City, MO – Block Maintenance Solutions, (BMS) the maintenance division for Block Real Estate Services (BRES) is showing their support by wearing “Real Men Wear Pink” T-shirts every Friday to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Pictured with the BMS team is one of BRES’s own, Lisa Randall, VP of BRES Property Management team and breast cancer survivor. Lisa was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at age 36. She underwent aggressive treatment and has now been cancer free for more than a decade. Her symptoms were reported to and ignored by doctors for several months before her diagnosis. She urges women to be extremely proactive with their own health concerns. Additionally, she can’t emphasize the importance of early mammograms and monthly self exams.
Lisa was so excited when, VP of BMS wanted to show his support with his entire maintenance team to such a worthy cause and something so close to a colleague of his.
“I wanted to show our support as a team for not only our colleague, Lisa Randall, but to all women who are going through or have gone through treatment for breast cancer”, stated Kevin Thomas, VP of BMS.
